Patients

As patients of UNLV School of Dental Medicine, you help prepare our dental students and residents to become exceptional health care providers, many of whom will remain in Nevada to care for our family, friends, and neighbors.

Dental students and residents provide the majority of treatment, which is always supervised by licensed faculty dentists. Appointment lengths in our student clinics may vary, but generally range from two to four hours. Patients should plan to be here one half day every other week for dental treatment. Our fees are typically less than a private practitioner’s, and we accept cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, most insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid for payments.
