Let's Make
Your It Happen

The Vegas Value

You know a college degree will boost your lifetime earning power. But think for a minute about what that “Vegas” on your resume will bring. It's instant cachet. A kind of reverence that only this city can command across the globe. After graduation, it'll be your go-to icebreaker. You'll parlay that into a compelling pitch about why you're the best candidate or future business partner. You're a Rebel, and you got an education unlike any other. You're armed with whip-smart knowledge and uncommon experiences. And you've got the drive to go out and make an immediate and positive impact on your community and the world around you.

"All universities offer you degrees, but UNLV offers you opportunities. The opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary projects, meet a diverse group of people, and push outside your comfort zone. An education at UNLV is different because it challenges you to be daring. And that confidence is essential to be successful as a professional."
Valentina Alayon, Major: Mechanical Engineering '17; Hometown: Las Vegas, NV; Employer: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

Stacking Up the Awards

UNLV's merit-based and regional scholarships are renewable and stackable. And you can keep your renewable scholarships for all four years!

Academic Excellence Without the Financial Burden

At UNLV, you can be confident that your degree will help you pursue your career goals and won't burden you with debt.

How can we be so sure? We offer financial aid and scholarships to more than 90 percent of our students upon admission. Our regional scholarships can save up to $2,400 annually for in-state students and up to $13,018 annually for out-of-state students. We also offer need-based aid and merit-based scholarships. Students walking around campus

See For Yourself

Feel the desert sun on your face and walk amongst the 4,300 trees (the whole campus is designated as an arboretum). Take a stroll, from the legendary Thomas & Mack Center to the campus mall and through a residence hall. Plus you'll have a chance to talk directly with an admissions counselor. Bring the family and make a Vegas vacation out of it.

Can't make the trip? We'll still give you a VIP experience through our online info sessions tailored to your interests (parents, you can “attend” too!).
