Congratulations to Lisamarie Tomassetti for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for October 2025. Tomassetti serves as the assistant director for residential education within Housing and Residential Life at UNLV. Her nominators wrote:
“Lisamarie played a huge role in bringing the Undie Run back to campus, something that had been canceled multiple times in the past. It took a mountain of coordination, communication, and sheer determination to make it happen, but she did it with grace, patience, and her signature “let’s make it work” attitude. Lisamarie has a way of leading that makes everyone around her feel seen, supported, and capable of doing great things. She knows how to push her team to grow, but she does it with humor, kindness, and a steady calm that helps others shine. Her RHA team describes her as “Lisa the GOAT Marie,” and honestly, it fits. She’s also been described as more than just an advisor; she’s a dependable mentor, a loyal supporter, and a trusted friend. She is someone we can always count on for guidance, encouragement, and unwavering dedication.”
The Administrative Faculty of the Month award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond in their duties in advancing UNLV’s mission. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 in recognition of their contributions. Nominations for the November 2025 award are due by Nov. 30, 2025.
