The UNLV TREATment Lab is recruiting participants with symptoms of anxiety (including generalized anxiety disorder) to participate in a research study.
The STARS (strategies to treat anxiety research study) program consists of attending 8 weekly, 30-to-45 min long sessions (in-person at UNLV, or via Zoom). STARS sessions will focus on evidence-informed strategies for treating anxiety symptoms and are delivered by supervised doctoral student therapists. All sessions will be audio recorded. Participation also includes up to 3 appointments to answer questions about your symptoms and well-being, which can be conducted over the telephone or Zoom software. Total study participation, including 8 STARS sessions, is 9-11 hours over 20 weeks.
