Mosquito Detectives Camp (Students Grades 9-12) on April 25

Don't miss your chance to register your high school student for Mosquito Detectives Camp on Saturday, April 25.

At Mosquito Detectives Camp, hosted by the Parasitology and Vector Biology (PARAVEC) Laboratory at the UNLV School of Public Health, students will get a behind-the-scenes look at how public health professionals monitor and control mosquito-borne diseases. Through a series of hands-on investigation stations, participants will explore the real tools and techniques used in mosquito surveillance, disease detection, environmental monitoring, and public health communication. Students will work alongside researchers and public health professionals while learning how data, science, and community action come together to prevent the spread of disease.
