May Administrative Faculty of the Month Award Winner: Rachel De Vera

Congratulations to Rachel De Vera for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for May 2025. Rachel serves as the Engineering Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator within the UNLV College of Engineering. Her nominators wrote: 

“Rachel is a natural leader and currently supervises and mentors the Engineering Student Ambassadors. She has grown the team from 6 to 12 in the last few years and has made a positive, life-changing impact on all of these students, always encouraging them to put their education and mental health first. She excels at networking and team building with engineering faculty, RSOs, and both on- and off-campus partners. She's led numerous Recruitment events for the College of Engineering and recently collaborated with all of the department chairs and Admissions to host the largest event of the semester: Rebel Preview. Moreover, she has led outreach across numerous K-12 schools across Clark County and has changed the lives of many families in her efforts.“

The Administrative Faculty of the Month award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond in their duties in advancing UNLV’s mission. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 in recognition of their contributions. Nominations for the June 2025 award are due by June 30, 2025
