Live Podcast Event on AI, Fiction, and Humanity (Black Mountain Institute) Sept. 20

Join Black Mountain Institute on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Beverly Theater for a live-taping of the Thresholds podcast. In this event, host and former BMI fellow Jordan Kisner will sit down with writer Jayson Greene, the author of the acclaimed literary science fiction novel UnWorld. The event is free, open to the public, and will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Greene's newest novel, Once More We Saw Stars, is about four intertwined lives that collide in the wake of a mysterious tragedy. Set in a near-future world where the boundaries between human and AI blur, the story challenges our understanding of consciousness and humanity.

Jayson Greene is the author of Once More We Saw Stars and a contributing writer and former senior editor at Pitchfork. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son. UnWorld is his first novel.
