Join the UNLV Skeet, Trap, and Range Club for Its First Meeting Oct. 6

The UNLV Skeet, Trap, and Range (STR) Club is excited to kick off its first year as an official UNLV faculty and staff affinity group. The club brings together faculty and staff who share an interest in skeet, trap, and recreational range shooting, and who want to represent UNLV in the Las Vegas Corporate Challenge.

The STR Club welcomes participants of all experience levels, from beginners interested in learning more about the sport to experienced shooters looking to practice and compete. The club emphasizes safety, skill development, camaraderie, and responsible participation.

Join Us for Our First Meeting

Our first club meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon.

During the meeting, members will meet club leadership, learn how the STR Club got started, review club expectations and safety requirements, and discuss upcoming activities. We will also introduce our plans for the Las Vegas Corporate Challenge, including the skeet, trap, and range events. To give us an idea of how many to expect, please RSVP for the meeting in advance.

A club calendar and practice and event schedule will be released soon. Register for club membership to receive information when it becomes available.
