Co-hosted by the International Gaming Institute, the Cannabis Policy Institute's Cannabis Speakers Series continues with a "Cannabis & Gaming" panel discussion on May 19 at the Thomas & Mack Moot Court. IGI Executive Director Brett Abarbanel will serve as the event emcee, contributing her expertise and insight throughout the event. The event will begin with a short presentation of recent research on cannabis and gaming behaviors from Cannabis Policy Institute Director of Research Marla Royne Stafford, and CPI Director Riana Durrett will also provide a brief overview of work the CPI has conducted in this area.
Durrett will moderate a panel discussion on the policy status quo and the future potential of the intersection between cannabis and gaming. The panel of experts include law professor and former Nevada Gaming Control Board member, Terry Johnson; cannabis establishment operator and government affairs consultant, David Goldwater; and gaming executive, Seth Schorr.
