Beyond the Gold Standard: Rethinking Evidence in Health Research Jan. 21

Plan to join the University Libraries for Beyond the Gold Standard: Rethinking Evidence in Health Research on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. You can attend this workshop online or in-person in the Rhyolite Room at Lied Library.

This workshop explores the origins and limitations of traditional evidence-based models in health research and examines how these frameworks can privilege certain methodologies and forms of knowledge.

Participants will compare dominant evidence hierarchies with alternative approaches to assessing rigor and relevance, and consider how expanding definitions of evidence can support more inclusive, interdisciplinary, and impactful health research.

Please register. This workshop is part of the Rebel+ Libraries Workshop Series.
