Accomplishments: UNLV Foundation

Lori Candela (Nursing) received two UNLV awards recognizing her significant record of teaching excellence. Candela, who has taught at the university since 1999, earned the UNLV Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award, and is one of two faculty members to receive the inaugural UNLV Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award.

The mission of the SCF is to help children fulfill their potential of safe, healthy, and educated lives.
