While UNLV’s homecoming is next week, there was an unofficial kick-off today with the 2nd Annual #RebelsGive fundraising drive Nov. 7 and 8.

Philanthropist and longtime UNLV supporter Robert “Bruce” Layne died Friday at the age of 73 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, the university announced today.

UNLV is launching a two-day fundraising drive next month, in which students and staff will encourage giving back to the school.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas announced its first two-day fundraising drive which encourages students and staff to give back to the community.
