Su Kim Chung (Libraries) earned her Ph.D in Information Studies from UCLA in March and will receive her doctoral hood this month at the UCLA graduation ceremony. Chung's dissertation, "'We Seek to Be Patient': Jeanne Wier and the Nevada Historical Society, 1904-1950," explores how Wier shaped a public historical culture in the state of Nevada.
