UNLV will welcome the newest members to the class of 2017 at its Winter Commencement at 4 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Thomas & Mack Center. 

Nearly 2,100 undergraduate, graduate and professional students are eligible to participate in this winter’s commencement.

New grads range in age from 19 to 75 and hail from 31 states and 42 countries. Approximately 85 percent of graduates are Nevada residents. Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 131,000 degrees.

UNLV President Len Jessup will honor a select group of graduating students during the ceremony for their outstanding academic and community achievements.

Thomas & Mack Center Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite attendee entry into the Thomas & Mack Center, a bag policy was implemented Oct. 9, 2017 that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought in.
