"Tune-Up Your Waste Management" will be a presented from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tropicana Hotel.

The seminar will focus on typical waste streams generated by the above shops, waste management alternatives, and possible ways to minimize the amount of waste generated from different operations.

Typical waste materials to be discussed include spent solvent, waste antifreeze, spent batteries, waste oil and paint, used paint filters, waste thinner, dirty rags, carburetor cleaner, and several others.

The seminar is being offered by the Business Environmental Program, the Nevada Small Business Development Center, and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection
