Biography

UNLV Nadia Pomirleanu is a marketing professor at UNLV's Lee Business School. Her research examines how organizations build lasting relationships through the design of experiences — whether between a brand and its audience, or between firms navigating complex commercial partnerships.

Her work explores how arts, cultural, and entertainment organizations design customer journeys that generate brand equity and long-term loyalty through live, immersive experiences and emotional bonds that traditional advertising cannot replicate. On the business-to-business (B2B) side, she studies how firms structure commercial relationships, sustain consumer trust during periods of disruption and crisis, and compete through service and experience strategy rather than product alone.

Pomirleanu has been published in the Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. She teaches courses in marketing strategy, services marketing, and experiential marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At UNLV, she founded mARTketing, a student creative competition and public exhibition connecting marketing education with Las Vegas's arts community.
