Biography

Melissa Shotell is a board-certified orthodontist focused on the interplay of orthodontics and restorative treatment.  

Shotell presents nationally and internationally on dental technology, clear aligners, digital workflow, and orthodontic techniques. In addition to working for a multi-specialty practice in California, she serves as a part-time faculty member at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine's orthodontic clinic and teaches continuing dental education courses for the University of Alberta in Canada.  

Shotell is also a reviewer for the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics. She shares tips and tricks on orthodontics and clear aligners via her social media handle @AlignerBee.
