Biography

John Nixon is assistant director for clinical services and PK-12 Outreach at The PRACTICE, UNLV’s community mental health clinic.

The PRACTICE provides mental health counseling, clinical psychology, and school psychology to the Las Vegas community and tele-counseling services to areas of rural Nevada. 

Nixon is also an assistant professor-in-residence in UNLV's department of counselor education, school psychology, and human services. His work focuses primarily on mental health counseling and training graduate students in counselor education.
