VP of Research Ed Synakowski seeks new opportunities for UNLV to work with federally funded laboratories and new places to play his trombone.

Ed Synakowski, UNLV's new vice president for research, is a physicist whose background includes not only work in higher education, but also with the federal government, including time spent at national labs.
