Meet Wyeth, a comprehensive medical imaging major and avid ukulele player. After growing up on an island in Hawaii, he chose to embrace the city vibe. His advice to future Rebels? Always remember the reason why you started this journey.
Why UNLV?
I chose UNLV mainly because of my major. I know that UNLV has one of the best programs in the nation, so I know I felt like I am making the right choice.
Best part about being in Las Vegas for college?
Las Vegas has absolutely given me so many opportunities, in all aspects. It helps that I got myself involved and was able to talk to people with the same interests, and it was the best decision ever. I am the type of person who has more of a city vibe, so UNLV is just a perfect need for my preference.

What student organizations, activities, or resources have you been involved with outside the classroom?
I am a member of Student Technologists Association in Radiological Sciences (STARS), Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists, and American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Advice for fellow Rebels?
I want to say that college is going to make or break you, but I would say do not worry, UNLV has provided us a lot of support to get through this journey. UNLV is amazing at making sure all of its students succeed.
