She shared her group's beginning work supporting nursing students with disabilities in clinical education. The research is grant-funded by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation.
John M. Bowers (English) has been selected as UNLV's nominee for the Nevada Regents' Humanities and Social Sciences Researcher Award. The winner will be announced at the Board of Regents meeting March 5-6, 2026.
