Associate professor and department chair Yen-Soon Kim (Hospitality) received an award for "Academic Excellence in Hospitality Innovation" at last week's Global Conference on Technology and AI in Hospitality and Tourism (GLOTECH 2025). Hosted by UNLV Black Fire Innovation Center, with support from the Harrah College of Hospitality,  the conference explored how AI, AR/VR, machine learning, and other technologies are reshaping language learning and translation.
