Monserrath Hernández, Elsa Lopez, Nathalie Martinez, Rodrigo Vazquez, and Barbara Tabach (all Libraries) presented a roundtable, "Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada: Birth of an Oral History Project," at the 53rd annual Oral History Association Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City. Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada is the latest oral history project from the UNLV Oral History Research Center in UNLV Libraries Special Collections and Archives.
Hernández, '18 BA Journalism & Media Studies and Political Science, is a graduate student in journalism and media studies. Lopez is an undergraduate student majoring in elementary education. Vazquez, '19 BA English, is a graduate student in economics. Martinez, a member of the Honors College, is an undergraduate majoring in anthropology and French. Tabach, who is the coordinator of the project, served as chair of the panel.
