Published: Tyler Parry

Tyler D. Parry (Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) published an article in the Washington Post on July 14 that examines the current debates over critical race theory and Confederate monuments, showing how the suppression of Black history deliberately misrepresents how we understand the past and civil rights activists throughout the U.S. South. He is an assistant professor of African American and Africa diaspora studies.
