Tiange Xu (Hospitality), Shane Kraus (Psychology), and colleagues recently published a paper, "Beyond Sports Betting Legalization: Comparing Problem Gambling Risk Patterns in Legal and Illegal States," in the Journal of Gambling Studies. Their research examines how problem gambling risk factors differ between states with legalized sports betting and those where it remains illegal.
