Theresa T. Roeher (Ph.D. graduate), Patricia Cruz, Mark Buttner, Asma Tahir (all Environmental and Global Health)  and Steven Medley (The George Washington University) coauthored a paper titled “Comparison of microscopy and quantitative real-time PCR for the enumeration of total airborne fungi in Las Vegas, Nevada” in the Journal of Microbiological Methods. The paper examined samples of airborne fungal spore concentrations in Las Vegas.
