Teresa (Tess) Walker, Lilla Brody, and Brenna Renn (all Psychology) published their manuscript, "Depressive symptomology across adult age groups: Differences in PHQ-9 symptom endorsement in a US sample," in Aging and Mental Health. This analysis of 8325 participants from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) sought to update longstanding notions that depressive symptom presentation varies between older and younger adults by examining more recent cohorts of older adults (e.g., Baby Boomers) and disaggregating youngest, young/middle, older, and oldest old adults. Walker and Brody are doctoral students in the UNLV Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program.
