Susan Lee Johnson (History) has been elected to membership in the Society of American Historians, an organization dedicated to literary excellence in writing history and biography. Johnson is the first UNLV faculty member to be invited to join the society. On May 13, 2024, Johnson attended the society's annual dinner in New York City, where new members were recognized.
