Shengjie Zhai (PI), Emma E Regentova (co-PI), Ming Zhu (co-PI) (all Electrical and Computer Engineering) and Vanessa Vongkulluksn (co-PI) (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) from the have received a prestigious National Science Foundation (NF) award of $899,898 for developing "Pocket TA: A Multimodal AI Platform for Personalized, On-Demand Scaffolding to Advance Engineering Education and U.S. Workforce Competitiveness in the AI Era." The project is funded by the Research on Innovative Technologies for Enhanced Learning (RITEL) program.
