Olivia Cheche (Political Science, Brookings Mountain West, and Honors College) and Joshua Padilla (Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction) recently co-authored, "Students Shortchanged by Lack of Oversight, Transparency at NSHE." Their Las Vegas Sun OpEd discusses the need to fix the culture within NSHE, citing current and past occurrences where "the system has failed to condemn the mistreatment of women in the workplaces it oversees." Cheche is pursuing a major in political science and is a student in the Brookings public policy minor program. She is also the Senate president for CSUN. Padilla is majoring in civil engineering and is the CSUN student body president.
