Noah Romero (Education) published "Theorizing Māori-Philippine solidarities through agential realism and punk rock pedagogy" in the latest issue of Research in Education. The study examines the work of Philippine artists in Aotearoa (New Zealand) through the lenses of punk culture, posthumanism, and Indigenous futurity to show what Indigenous and immigrant peoples stand to gain when they decenter the colonizer and prioritize communing with one another.
