Nicholas Irwin (Economics) and co-author Mitchell Livy of California State University, Fullerton, recently published an article, "Measuring Environmental (Dis)amenity Value during a Pandemic: Early Evidence from Maryland," in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. This paper examines the changing valuation of environmental amenities by homebuyers in response to COVID-19 imposed stay-at-home orders.
