Miguel Fudolig (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) published an article with colleagues from Cal Poly and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln titled "Can You See The Change? Visual Perception in Change Point Analysis" in the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics. Their research tests the ability of humans to detect changes in means for time series data.
