Mark Lenker (Libraries) recently had a paper recognized by the Association of College and Research Libraries. His essay, "Thoughts on Synthesizing Information: A Research Skill for Our Time?" was named a Selected Resource for 2026 by the Teaching Methods Committee of ACRL's Instruction Section. Mark's essay reflects on the difficulty and necessity of teaching research synthesis. It also proposes teaching strategies for synthesizing information and identifies possibilities for further research.
