Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) published the article, "Applying the Integrated Marketing Communication Approach to Recruit and Retain African American Women" in the journal Health Promotion Perspectives with his former student, Traci Hayes, who now is a faculty member at University of Southern Mississippi. The article discusses innovative approaches to recruit African American women in research studies based on Hayes' dissertation.
