Maja Jeranko (Anthropology) contributed a chapter to Decolonial Engagements in Anthropology, an edited volume that grew out of a 2023 workshop in Ascona organized by the InterFace Commission. Her chapter, "Feminist Decolonial Research as Collaborative Pedagogy: Lessons from Post-Disaster Coastal Ecuador," examines the challenges and opportunities of building rapport and conducting research with rural communities amid and in the aftermath of disasters.
