Maggie Farrell (Libraries) recently shared her expertise at several national and professional development events. At the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference, she organized and participated in the panel presentation, "An ALA Legacy Going Strong Over 100 Years: The American Library in Paris," highlighting the enduring impact of the historic institution. She also served as the featured speaker for the career development workshop, "Beyond the Offer Letter: Effective Negotiation for Librarians," providing guidance on negotiation strategies for library professionals. In addition, Farrell was an invited speaker for the UCLA Library Senior Fellows program, where she presented on higher education and academic library budgeting to current and emerging library leaders.
