Lung-Wen "Antony" Chen's (Environmental and Global Health) UNLV School of Public Health Urban Air Quality Lab has been working with community members to assess the impact of urban greening initiatives on heat and air pollution exposure. The lab has established 6 residential monitoring sites in neighborhoods with substantial tree-planting activities. They presented about their project at the One Health Day event at West Career & Technical Academy on October 3 to further engage the community and raise awareness.
