Lilla Brody, Berlyn Fife, Sataya Otoo, and Brenna Renn (all Psychology) published their manuscript, "Methodological Considerations for Comorbidity of Anxiety and Depression in Later-Life Psychotherapy Trials: A Scoping Review" in the Clinical Gerontologist. This paper reviewed 91 randomized controlled trials of psychotherapy for anxiety and/or depression in older adults to summarize and better understand how these highly comorbid conditions are measured and handled in contemporary psychotherapy study design, with an eye toward generalizability and transdiagnostic treatments.
Brody is a doctoral student in the UNLV Clinical Psychology PhD program advised by Renn. Fife & Otoo are undergraduate research assistant assistants in Renn's TREATment Lab.
