Kenyon Lee Whitman (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) has received a $40,000 grant from the Transition-Age Youth Research & Evaluation Hub (TAY-Hub) to do a "Socio-ecological Examination of the Educational and Life Trajectories of Young Men of Color (YMOC) with Foster Care Experience." This study will further our understanding of the complex interplay between identity (e.g. race, masculinity, foster care experience) and societal influences that shape the college and overall life outcomes of YMOC with foster care experience.
