Kavita Batra along with a researcher from India published the chapter "Applications of social media in qualitative research in diverse public health areas" in the book Effective Use of Social Media in Public Health. This chapter discusses the use of social media by health professionals, public health agencies, and researchers to collect the voices of people to elicit textual descriptions and content production in diverse areas.
