Kavita Batra (Medicine) co-authored a study, “Global and regional progress towards reduced burden of oral conditions between 2019 and 2023: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023,” published in The Lancet Public Health. The study found that while age-standardized prevalence of oral conditions declined globally, the total number of cases increased, highlighting continued challenges in addressing oral health worldwide.
