Published: Karl Kingsley and Christine Bergman

Karl Kingsley (Dental) and Christine Bergman (Hotel Administration) coauthored a presentation by dental student Don Phipps at the International Association for Dental Research in Iguacu Falls, Brazil, in June. It was titled "Soy Protein Extract Inhibits Oral Cancer Growth: Potential Dietary Implications." Kingsley also is the senior author of a research article titled, "Indoleamine 2,3-Dioxygenase (IDO) and Tryptophan Dioxygenase (TDO) mRNA Expression in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cells is Actively and Differentially Modulated," which appeared this year in the Journal of Molecular Pathophysiology.
