The article "Local support factors in integrated resort development: a study of Japanese residents" was recently published in the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. In the article, co-authors Jungsun (Sunny) Kim, Eunmi Song, Boran Kim, and Choong-Ki Lee (all Hospitality) investigate the perceived positive and negative impacts of integrated resort (IR) development in Japan from the residents’ perspectives. The study also explores how these impacts affect residents’ perceived benefits and support for IR development, comparing two locations: the host prefecture and its neighboring prefectures.
