Coauthors Junghoon Lee (Hospitality), Christopher Cain (Hospitality), and Justin Ehrlich (Syracuse) recently had their article, “The effects of different kinematic sequences of the elite golf swing on clubhead speed,” published in the International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching. Using data from 14 elite right-handed male golfers competing on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, NCAA, and within the PGA of America, the researchers investigated the extent to which optimal sequencing during the backswing, transition, and downswing phases affects clubhead speed.
