Jenna Weglarz-Ward (Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education), along with Kimberly Hile from University of Alabama-Huntsville and Kim Travers from Kent State University, published an article about supporting families during and after their experiences in the neonatal intensive unit in the DEC Recommended Practice Series--Transition: Supporting Changes in Services and Settings. "More than Going Home: Building Strong Transitions Into, Within, and From the NICU" includes a summary of research and practical strategies to help families of infants during this challenging time.
