Associate professor Jenna Weglarz-Ward (Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education) presented three sessions at the recent Nevada Association for the Education of Young Children (NevAEYC) and Division for Early Childhood (NVDEC) annual conference. Her sessions centered around supporting young children with disabilities and their families in early care and education programs. Sessions included: Catching Up and Conversations about DEC's Stance on Equity and Inclusion in Early Childhood; Pathways to Partnership with Families of Children with Disabilities; and Learning from Mr. Rogers about Children with Disabilities.
