Jared Lau (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) recently was awarded the 2018 WACES Special Recognition Award for his extensive contribution to research and service in the western region of the United States. He received the award at the 2018 Western Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (WACES) bi-annual conference that was held in Santa Rosa, California, earlier this month. He most recently served as registration chair at the WACES conference, and has published extensively in multicultural and ecological counselor development.
