Holly Samayoa (Libraries) has been named a 2026-27 Spectrum Scholar by the American Library Association. Samayoa, who is pursuing a graduate degree in library and information studies at the University of Washington, was one of 60 students selected for the prestigious scholarship. Scholars were chosen for their commitment to community building, leadership potential, and plans to advance social justice throughout the library and information science profession.
