Erika Marquez (Environmental & Occupational Health) is principal investigator on a $1.5 million grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) received by the Nevada Childhood Lead Poisoning Preventing Program (NvCLPPP). The program is under the Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy. NvCLPPP will be working to strengthen childhood blood lead surveillance in Nevada over the next five years.
